Olivier Giroud Announces His Retirement from Sports

"It's time to turn the page. I'm embarking on new adventures. From now on, I will be the team's number one supporter. The French team, which I proudly served for 13 years, will always have a special place in my heart and will remain my best memory," Giroud shared on his social networks.

At 37, Olivier Giroud made his debut for the French national team in November 2011 in a match against the United States (1:1). During his 13 years with the team, he played 137 matches, scoring 57 goals and providing 15 assists. His last match for the national team was the semi-final of the 2024 European Championship against Spain (1:2).
